Available Forms

  • Loose bulk form: Fresh or dried leaves.
  • Capsules/tablets: Contain dried leaves or oil.
  • Enteric-coated capsules: Contain peppermint oil, typically for IBS relief.

Dosage

  • Tea: 1–2 teaspoons of dried leaves per 8 ounces of water.
  • Tincture: 2–3 ml three times daily.
  • Peppermint oil (ECPO): 200 mg two to three times daily for IBS.
