Are vitamin B12 shots better than oral supplements? What’s the best way to increase your B12? On the surface, it would seem that B12 shots must be better than supplements. Typically, vitamin B12 deficiency is treated with injections because that method bypasses any barriers to absorption. However, oral vitamin B12 supplements might be as effective. A 2018 Cochrane review compared high dose of oral with intramuscular B12 for B12 deficiency, and this study showed that the ability to normalize levels of B12 between the shots and the supplements was basically the same, but one of the most common forms of B12 in shots and supplements is Sano Cobain. People are saying that this has the potential to turn into cyanide in the body. Is that true? I’ll talk about that in the next video.
